About Magnificently U
Magnificently U was created by psychologists Deirdre Ryan and Deirdre Cowman. While carrying out research on the prevention of eating disorders, they became aware of the prevalence of low self-esteem and negative body image in school-aged children and the lack of resources that tackle this issue in a light-hearted and fun way.
In response to this Magnificently U has teamed up with Bodywhys (The Eating Disorder Association of Ireland) to launch an exiting new resource ‘The Magnificent Toby Plum’ suitable for primary school children..
Magnificently U are pleased to donate a percentage of the proceeds from the book to Bodywhys
